I received my undergraduate degree in Geography in the winter of 2009. My focus in college was in Human Geography and Geographic techniques. I developed an interest in Urban Studies, Transportation, Climate and Hydrology. By the end of my undergraduate career, I’d done research on alternative transportation, biohazards, hydrology and migration patterns. Currently I am continuing school at a community college, attempting to fill in the gaps in my knowledge to become more well rounded.
As part of the tradition of being a Geographer, I love to travel and explore. My favorite areas to explore are the uninhabited wildness’s of the world. I’ve been two six countries and three continents, but most of my exploration is done in my home state of sunny California. Despite having studied urban Geography I do not have the same desire to explore cities as I do the wildlife. However this does not mean the topic of urban exploration will not be brought up.
This is my travel/geography blog. I’ll also throw in some general travel discussion as well. Outdoor skills is always fun. And gear, we all love gear.
